Building a student community
I co-founded and helped organize CheeseHacks in 2021 and 2022 through UW–Madison’s Google Developer Student Club and Web Development Club. The first event was among the university’s earliest hackathons after pandemic restrictions.
Role and impact
Our team coordinated sponsors, logistics, participant support, and judging for a strong turnout in both years. The event gave students a welcoming place to build creative projects, meet collaborators, and—appropriately—eat cheese.
